-- Empowering Local Farmer's Communities --

DUOL FARMERS CBO is a registered farmers based organization (CBO) that focuses mainly on supporting and empowering local farmer’s communities through various agriculture training programs that are targeting smallholder farmers, women, young single mothers, PWD, youths and children.

DUOL FARMERS CBO started in July 06 2024 as a registered CBO with the registration number DSD/42/243/02/23992. CBO focuses on two main bottom lines, Commercial farming, and Community empowerment to address the problem of food insecurities in Africa, end poverty, and establish good nutrition standards. Training and microfinance service (savings and credit) is the engine of CBO farmer community empowerment work.

The CBO aims to be a model farmer’s support group that can inspire, be transferred elsewhere – and scaled up and down.

DUOL FARMERS CBO was formed to focus on issues of unemployment, low farm productivity, poor farming knowledge and malnutrition, Poor saving culture, low income which led to DUOL FARMERS CBO developing 6 programs to empower the community.
